Dark beasts are one of the various slayer monsters found in Emps-World. They require 90 Slayer in order to be attacked. They can be assigned to the player as a slayer task by Duradel and Shenven. Dark beasts can be found in two locations: the first is deep within the Smoke dungeon, located past the Goraks in two rooms surrounding the Smoke demon champion's lair. Players who wish to fight them will have to equip a Facemask or a Regular or Full slayer helmet inside the dungeon order to survive the dungeon's deadly smoke. Additionally, Dark beasts can also be found in the Ancient caves, in the upper levels of the dungeon north of the Ancient gladiators. This location, however, requires 30 Agility to access.

Superior version

After completing Superior creatures quest, players can talk to Shenven slayer master to allow superior slayer monsters randomly appear during your task. During dark beast task, you can encounter Light beast.

Weakness

Dark beast is weak to slash type of damage and players will benefit from a 50% accuracy boost if they attack Dark beast with proper damage type.
