A map of the Nomad Dungeon

Nomad dungeon is a solo/duo dungeon that contains many restless creatures of various combat level, 3 miniboss and the ferocious Nomad.

Location

The Nomad dungeon is located on the cairn isle inside the bottom portion of karamja. Players can either run from Shilo village, use the karamja gloves once the Karamja Journey quest completed or teleport via a POH portal.

Recommended armour and equipment

  • Bringing a hatchet with you is higly recommended. See "Soul mechanic" section below for more info.
  • Undead slayer aura is higly usefull when doing doing a full clear dungeon. Otherwise, any of the highest combat aura you have will do against minibosses and nomad.
  • Rot damage are doing a great deal of damage against nomad since the fight can last quite a while. Therefor, any weapon causing rot damage is a good addition to a player's artilery.
  • For full clear dungeon, any multi-target attack will help you to save a lot of time instead of having to attack every monster one by one.


Soul mechanic

During the Nomad dungeon, players need to make sure they have plenty of souls for the last fight against the nomad. Without them souls, he will deal an undeniably big amount of damage even through protection prayers and continously heal himself of 200 hp every 5 seconds.

If players finish the fight with extra souls, the rewards will scale up depending on how many souls a player has left. Scaling up to 400%! Therefor, better have plenty than not enough.

These souls can either be obtained by investigating the soul compounds or by killing any monster inside the dungeon.

There are 4 soul compounds inside Nomad dungeon that each gives different amount of souls.

  • The first 2 compound can be found in the room south of Nomad dungeon entrance. They both gives 5 souls.

Nomad fight

The nomad will use various mechanics throughtout the fight and his attack speed will increase as his hp goes down. His attack pattern will however stay the same. Nomad's attack pattern goes as follows: single target melee attack, multi-target magic attack, multi-target ranged attack, special attack.
