Banshees are one of the various slayer monsters found in Emps-World. They require 68 Slayer in order to be attacked. They can be assigned to the player as a slayer task by Mazchna, Vannaka, Duradel and Shenven. Banshees can be found on the second floor of the Slayer tower, located past the Cockatrice. Players can climb the spiky chain on the first floor of the tower to reach them quicker but will need 45 Agility. It is recommended to wear earmuffs or Full slayer helmet to reduce damage from Banshees, and use Salve amulet and undead slayer aura to increase damage dealt agains Banshees.

After completing Superior creatures quest, players can talk to Shenven slayer master to allow superior slayer monsters randomly appear during your task. During banshee task, you can encounter Banshee noble.

Weakness

Banshee and its superior version are weak to any air type of damage and players will benefit from a 50% accuracy boost if they attack them with proper damage type. They are also considered an undead monster which makes them immune to rot and poison type of damage but vulnerable to the salve amulet and undead slayer aura effects.
