Fighting them requires Melee protection prayer, as they can hit quite alot, and even through prayer they may smack you ~20. Therefore bring a good gear, food and potions to sustain Yourself. Also be sure to bring a teleport, as all the monsters in the cave are agressive and walking around low on health and without prayer will get You killed.
