Cockatrice are one of the various slayer monsters found in Emps-World. They require 63 Slayer in order to be attacked. It is recommended to use Mirror shield, otherwise their special attack reduces your combat stats. They can be assigned to the player as a slayer task by Vannaka and Duradel. Cockatrice can be found on the second floor of the Slayer tower, located next to the Infernal mages. You need to have a Tower key to pass through the doors that lay between Cockatrices and Infernal mages. Players can climb the spiky chain on the first floor of the tower to reach them quicker but will need 45 Agility.

After completing Superior creatures quest, players can talk to Shenven slayer master to allow superior slayer monsters randomly appear during your task. During cockatrice task, you can encounter Darkatrice.

Weakness

Cockatrice is weak to any stab type of damage and players will benefit from a 50% accuracy boost if they attack Cockatrice with proper damage type.
