Fighting them requires Melee protection prayer, as they can hit quite alot, and even through prayer they may smack you ~20. Therefore bring a good gear, food and potions to sustain Yourself. Skeleton heros are located in the Smoke dungeon, which can be accesed by climbing down Smokey well in Kharidian Desert, west from Pollniveach. To reach Skeleton heros, You must run through Fire Giants, past Dust devils and Smoke devils, pass Nechryaels and You'll reach the Skeletons. Heros are the last ones, located after all the other Skeletons, before Goraks.
