Hitpoints (HP) are the amount of points that indicate your character's health.

The Hitpoints skill is automatically trained in any fight with any of the combat styles Attack, Strength, Defence, Range and Magic. You will not gain Hitpoints experience when enchantment spells, support spells, teleportation spells or alchemy spells are used, as they deal no damage directly. You gain 10 Hitpoints experience per hit in Emps-World.

When players reach higher levels of the Hitpoints skill, they are able to sustain more damage in a fight.

Players may restore their health points with food or Saradomin brews.

Bread 2 HP Can be bought from the Fish monger
Shrimps 3 HP Can be bought from the Fish monger
Sardine 4 HP Can be fished, then cooked
Herring 5 HP Can be fished, then cooked
Mackerel 6 HP Can be fished, then cooked
Trout 7 HP Can be fished, then cooked, or bought from the Fish monger
Cod 7 HP Can be fished, then cooked
Pike 8 HP Can be fished, then cooked
Salmon 9 HP Can be fished, then cooked
Tuna 10 HP Can be fished, then cooked
Lobster 12 HP Can be fished, then cooked
Bass 13 HP Can be fished, then cooked
Swordfish 14 HP Can be fished, then cooked
Monkfish 16 HP Can be fished, then cooked
Shark 20 HP Can be fished, then cooked
Sea turtle 21 HP Can be fished, then cooked
Manta ray 23 HP Can be fished, then cooked
Saradomin brew 1-14 HP according to Hitpoints level Can be made with Herblore

There are also a few gloves that require a certain Hitpoints level before players can wield them.
