Wildy wyrms can be found in the Wilderness at four places: just between the Mage arena and the Wilderness agility course in high wilderness, east of the Wilderness at level 16, south of the lava stream south of the Demonic ruins (level 48 wilderness, has aggressive Lesser demons near it) and between the Lava maze and Red dragon isle at wilderness level 50.

Many players choose to fight the Wildy wyrm for the Dragon claws, a strong special attack weapon. Members may also get a Wildy wyrm task from Duradel, counting as a boss task.

Tactics

The Wildy wyrm is one of the strongest monsters in the game and should not be underestimated. It is very difficult to solo one of these wyrms, because of their high hitpoints and strong offense, although it is possible.

Protect from Magic is strongly advised if players decide to confront a Wyrm with high melee defense bonuses. Ranged or Magic is highly recommended if players choose to solo, as you can then avoid all melee damage.

During combat the Wildy wyrm might burrow underground and reappear at another place. Players should run away and not investigate the mound it will appear from, as they can take high damage (up to 75!) when the wyrm reappears on the surface.
