Skeletal wyverns are one of the various slayer monsters found in Emps-World. They require 72 Slayer in order to be attacked. They can be assigned to the player as a slayer task by Vannaka and Duradel. Skeletal wyverns can be found deep within the Ice cave, located in a room past the Ice giants, warriors, and spiders.

Mechanics

Skeletal wyverns utilize three different types of attacks against the player. The first is a standard melee attack, while the second is a slow-moving magic attack resembling the Ice rush and Ice burst spells, having a chance to freeze the player in place for 10 seconds. The third attack is an attack which deals up to 34 damage if you are not wearing an Elemental shield.

After completing Superior creatures quest, players can talk to Shenven slayer master to allow superior slayer monsters randomly appear during your task. During skeletal wyvern task, you can encounter Frozen wyvern.

Weakness

Skeletal wyvern and its superior version are weak to any fire type of damage and players will benefit from a 50% accuracy boost if they attack them with proper damage type. They are also considered an undead monster which makes them immune to rot and poison type of damage but vulnerable to the salve amulet and undead slayer aura effects.
