Dark beasts can be found deep in the Smoke dungeon. It is a Slayer monster, so only members with slayer level 90 are able to damage them. They can hit high and quite accurate, so protect from Melee is advised when fighting them. Their attack speed is quite slow so prayer flicking can be a method to preserve prayer points. You can avoid hassle by either ranging or maging them at a safe distance.

Dark beasts are reowned for being the only monster dropping the Dark bow.
