Werewolves appear when you try to attack a villager in Canifis. They will shapeshift into a Werewolf and start attacking you. Many players train on these monsters, as Canifis is easy to reach, a bank is nearby and these Werewolves drop Jangerberries, various high level herbs and Wine of Zamorak. These are all ingredients for Herblore.

Werewolves are the only source of Jangerberries for free players.
