Summoning
Summoning is the newest skill added to Emps-World. Summoning allow players to create and summon various familiars. These familiars can be of great help through your adventures, weither if it's combat or various skilling activities.
In order to get started with the Summoning skill, players will need to complete the Druid Summoning quest to unlock the ability to create summoning pouches, summoning scrolls and to be able to loot charms from monsters. Each familiar has its own combat level, which will increase as they fight just like your character. High-level familiars can become formidable allies in battle.
Training
Players can gain a decent amount of Summoning XP by creating pouches and scrolls, however, that technique can come out as being quite costy. Another way would be to make your familiar fight allong your side. For each damage dealt by your familiar, you will gain 10 Summoning XP and it will gain 80 familiar XP. Therefor, the stronger your familiar become, the faster your training will be.
Familiars
All familiars have a special ability which can be used by consuming a summoning scroll and a given amount of summoning points. Some familiars even have great passsive ones!
Your familiar's combat level can go from 1 to 250. It has the same XP curve as you from level 1 to 99. After that, it scales down and will reach the combat level of 250 at 250m combat experience. Also, the higher your familiar combat level is, the longer a single summoning pouch last.
Familiars in Wilderness
To maintain a balance with familiar's damage in PvP, their damage is reduced by your PvP block damage modifier. Additionally, a diminishing returns system based on a familiar's combat level has been added. Each combat level now increases the amount of blocked damage by 0.1%, up to a maximum of 25%.
For example:
- A level 250 familiar will deal 25% less damage.
- A level 150 familiar will deal 15% less damage.
- A level 100 familiar will deal 10% less damage.
This change keeps high-level familiars strong, but prevents them from dealing overwhelming, one-shot levels of damage. Accuracy and Defence remains untouched!
Summoning Pouches
The making of summoning pouches is done by combining a specific ingredient with a certain amount of Spirit shards, a charm and an empty familiar pouch at a large obelisk which can be found through out Emps-World.
Summoning Scrolls
The making of summoning scrolls is done by sacrificing a summoning pouch on a large obelisk. Each summoning pouch will grant 15 summoning scrolls of that sacrificed famiiar's special ability.
