We're also removing double xp and free member weekends. Please don't immediately rampage on that, let me explain why and tell you what ELSE we're giving you! Double XP weekends sound really cool, everything trains twice as fast. In theory that sounds really good, but the plain reality is, that we only have lots of players online during these weekends. So once in 2 weeks, we have peeks with over 400 players online at once. I'd like to change these peeks a little and have 350-400 players online daily. I'm therefore removing double XP and free member during weekends and add 1 hour of double xp every day. Our plan is to make some kind of 'double xp aura' available for voting points. I'm working on a voting system for RuneLocus, TopG, RSPS-List, etc. Our plan is to use voting points for cosmetical items, double xp, member days and even brawling gloves. Please bear in mind, that this change goes live WHENEVER the voting system is finished. It could mean that we have no double xp next weekend, but I cannot guarantee that yet!
TL;DR: No double xp/free member weekends, 1h double xp a day!

You do realize that people have important exams during spring? They OBVIOUSLY have less time to play than usual, and now they have pretty much no reason to play Emps on weekends either. Voting rewards are just an another excuse for the fact that Emps is going downhill. Emps didn't need that, and NOBODY even wanted that back when we had 1k+ player peaks.

How about tokens that you can stack and you can consume them to get an immediate hour of double xp? That way you can get your double xp at a time you can actually utilize it.

It's still 14 hours vs 48 hours of double XP per 2 weeks. I can't see the player peaks going up with this system (assuming that higher player peaks are what Thomy is trying to achieve). Of course you could use the 14 hours more efficiently than the full 48 hours.

Thanks Thomy and Martin

I agree with what Mary said, double xp should not be a time zone thing, but rather, a player can use it anytime they want, with 1 tokens last for 1 hour.

I thought of the same thing, didn't they drop wines of zamorak all the time? Don't you mean noted?

Thanks for the updates!

The GE is what I am most interested about.

Btw what about the double tickets/tokens? Will these dissapear aswell?

Btw what about the double tickets/tokens? Will these dissapear aswell?

Ofc they would disappear, you can't get infinite double xp/membership

Everyhting is great.
But There is alot players who are not able to use this double xp hour cuz of their time zone. What about that?

We won't make that depend on the timezone! Every player will be able to choose their double xp time individually.

Very nice updates, thanks! Website  design is wonderful!

can you make it 2 hours of double xp / day ?

good job  anyway

You can vote on multiple sites each day, assuming 1 vote would give you 1h or even 30min: You still get more than an hour everyday if you peacefully vote for all the sites

vote now is working, and d xp when it well start? wich time daily

This must be one of the best updates ive seen so far!!

This is an amazing update, you've addressed a lot of the complaints the community has had lately and made the perfect decision regarding voting, thanks alot!

And to anyone saying the hour of chosen double exp isn't better you I think you need to consider this:

I would avoid doing things during the week because i would prefer to save the items for the weekend when i could get double the experience, this will definitely motivate me to play more during the week.

^i totaly 100% agree with mary here, if you would get like 1 token per 12 hours there would be a reason to log in every 12 hours to obtain them and when you have a reasonable stack you could use them on a single time. why didn't no one suggest this sooner ?

Thanks
