The Rune medium helm requires a Defence level of 40 to wear. It can be obtained as a drop from various Monsters. It can also be made by using the Smithing skill. This requires a smithing level of 88 and 1 Rune bar and will grant 560 smithing experience. The rune medium helm provides the same stats as the Rune full helm, they just look different.
