Tactics
Melee is the most efficient combat style to deal with Zamorak in Godwars dungeon. First you will need to get 20 kills on the minions of Zamorak. This is relatively easy as Zamorak has low level minions, like Imps and Pyrefiends. Kill these to waste as less food as possible. If you do not wear a Zamorak item, like a Zamorak godsword or a Zamorak cape, all minions in the Zamorak room will be aggressive. It is recommended to wear a Zamorak item, to waste as less food possible.
When you have reached 20 killcount, get ready to enter the General's room. In the General's room you will be attacked by all three combat styles. Every minion of the general represents one of the three combat styles. It is advised to kill the general with a group, as it is very strong and the minions will not make it any easier.
K'ril Tsutsaroth attacks with both melee and magic attacks. It is advised to use Protect from Melee when K'ril Tsutsaroth targets you, and Protect from Magic if you're not the main target. Be aware that he will switch targets during the fight, so switch to the appropiate protection prayer when he does. K'ril Tsutsaroth can hit up to about 40 with melee and about 30 with magic, through protection prayers. Without protection prayers he can hit higher! The General's minions can hit you for about 20 damage.
There is an altar in every boss room to restore your prayer. Note that you are only able to restore your prayer every 5 minutes. The altar will tell you in how many minutes you will be able to restore your prayer again. A player with high Prayer level will not need to use Prayer potions, even when using Piety, although bringing one for emergencies is always handy.
