Yak-hide is a drop from Yaks at the Island of Neitiznot. It can be brought to Thakkrad Sigmundson on the island to cure the hide, enabling players to craft it with a needle and thread into Yak-hide armour.

Yak-hide is an ingredient used in order to create a Pack yak pouch. The creation of a Pack yak pouch requires a Summoning level of 96. Players need an empty familiar pouch, 211 Spirit shards, a gold charm and Yak-hide. This action grants 422 Summoning XP.
