The Black platebody requires a Defence level of 10 to wear. It can obtained as a drop from various Monsters. It can also be purchased for 4,302 coins in the Armour shop in Barbarian village and Al-Kharid. It cannot be made by using the Smithing skill. There is no difference in stats between Black, Black (t) or Black (g) armour.
