Dye shards are ingredients required to make one of four rare dyes obtainable from hard and elite clue scrolls. Players can combine 500 of a single type of shard with a dye bottle to make a dye, requiring a herblore level of 85 and yielding 900 herblore experience. Cleaning your dyed item wil not grant your dye back.
