Shadow dye is one of the four rare dyes made by combining 500 shadow dye shards with a dye bottle. It requires 85 herblore to make and yields 900 herblore experience. Once recolored, the dye is consumed and cannot be reobtained. Players also can redye an already colored item with a different dye.
