The Dragon platebody requires a Defence level of 60 to wear. It is one of the platebodies with the highest defensive stats ingame. The dragon platebody provides stats similar to the Bandos chestplate except for its additional Prayer and Strength bonus.

The dragon platebody can only be created by smithing the Ruined dragon armour lump, the Ruined dragon armour slice and the Ruined dragon armour shard together at an anvil. This requires a Smithing level of 90 and a Blast fusion hammer in your inventory. Creating the dragon platebody will grant 966 smithing experience. These dragon armour pieces can be obtained as a rare drop from the Chaos Elemental, Chronozon and the King Black Dragon.
