Vanguard armour is a PvP hybrid armour obtainable from the blood coins exchange for 800,000 blood coins in total. Alternatively, it can also be obtained as rare drops from PvP crates. The set requires 72 defence, attack, and ranged to equip.

Set effect

Vanguard armour, when all parts are equipped, will activate the Vanguard armour's set effect. The set effect returns 6% of the damage you deal to you as special attack energy. It also increases the damage of your special attacks by 12%. Additionally, if at least two pieces of the armour are equipped, the prayer drain of Smite is increased to 40%.
