Uncut ruby can be obtained in several ways. Players can get them randomly while opening [[Casket]]s and [[Mining]] [[Ores]], by mining the [[Gem rocks]] on [[Island of Neitiznot]], as drops from [[Monsters]] or receiving them as a reward from Random Events. Also, Uncut ruby can be obtained by training [[Thieving]] at the [[Gem stall]] located in [[Al-Kharid]] and [[Ardougne]], this requires Thieving level 80.

Uncut rubies are used as Crafting and Fletching ingredients for various types of jewelry or bolt tips. Players will have to cut the gem with a chisel in order to turn it into a craftable ruby.
