Sapphire bolts can be created using the Fletching skill, at level 48 Fletching. This action grants 309 experience. Cut an Uncut sapphire twice and you obtain 45 Sapphire bolt tips. Attach the Sapphire bolt tips to 45 Mithril bolts to obtain 45 Sapphire bolts. Sapphire bolts can be further upgraded into Sapphire bolts (e) when using the Lvl-1 Enchant spell in your Normal spellbook.
Sapphire bolts can be used with a crossbow and give +62 ranging strength.
