Astral runes can be crafted by using Rune essence or Pure essence on the Astral altar, which can be found on Lunar Island (aka Moonclan Island). This action requires Runecrafting level 67 and grants 192 experience.
Players can reach the island by either wearing an Astral tiara when entering a Prismatic altar, or by using the level 69 Moonclan or the level 71 Ouriana teleportation spells from the Lunar spellbook.
