I do believe that this is a great update! Exited to find out how the new features at barbarian are. Also great to have an extra slot for the wings..

I do hope that the economy benefits from the changes made to staking, it would be really nice if the Grand Exchange will finally be more useful. But, I do think a lot of items will simply drop in price.. Take for example items like bgs, zgs or dragon claws i dont think there is a lot of demand for these. From now on people will start selling these weapons a lot and my guess is that the price will lower a lot, too.

Those new EP items look great! Really wanna try those

Damn, finally an update which made me install emps again and give it another go.

Remove all the double xp scrolls from the game then, some people have 100+ of them banked.
Give them their EP back so they can buy those auras.

Back to the duel arena thing, this means that old schools will be worthless, because nobody wants to 'buy' them for money.

Sometimes you gotta sacrifice a couple pixel hungry nerds for the greater good of the whole game.

All of the teleports and quests have dissapeared when using software renderer

One question : You can reach now 250M exp in a skill, does that mean you need to have 250M exp to wear that "Max skillcape" as well or does it just stay on 200M exp?

You could get those teleports from EP shop earlier.
As far as the cape is concerned, it will probably be exactly like max cape was when hunter came (total lvl requirement increased from 2079 to 2178). It will stay for a while and then the requirement is changed.

Changes of October 2nd:

• Auras are no longer usable in the wilderness and duel arena. They still work versus NPCs in the wilderness, in safe PK zones and in minigames. Moreover, newly started auras now contain 10,000 charges instead of 1,000. Yes, this change is big... but 1,000 charges just deplete way too fast.
• Wings and auras are now always disabled in the duel arena. You can still wear the items, but they'll have 0 stats and no effect.
• A bug was fixed where HP bar was wrongly shown when eating.
• More healing feedback were added to special attacks, guthans, magicks and bolts.

what do you mean by "more healing feedback"? does this mean guthan's is back to it's original state?

No, it means that guthan heals are now also shown as hit splats.
