It'll probably come with time, if they gave an announcement about it. Just be patient.

I am patient but it's been a month or so since that topic was posted and I'm just wondering how it was going since George quit the game.

I don't think George would have coded it. Nevertheless there are is bugs that needs to be fixed.
IMO that is more serious than adding something new.

At present there is no 'draw' in the duel arena. In the case of both players dieing at exactly the same moment it'll just randomly pick a winner.

And why is this such a big deal?
It has always been this way, and so many elder stakers haven't complained about this.
IMO staking is a game of chances anyway so it doesn't matter if one gets the entire loot when both die.

pvming, go gwd, kill mithril dragons, kill revenants

^That and to get the gear for i recommend just skilling, fishing is a good alternative. It takes little focus and paus out if not much, a decent smount of money; at least to get you started.
Or you may also kill blue dragons for dragon bones like i did at the start
