Ironman mode is a style of gameplay on Emps-World that allows you to play the game with certain restrictions to make the game more difficult and challenging, and for some more enjoyable.

To begin Ironman mode on Emps-World, speak to the Quest guide on Tutorial island before you leave, and choose the "Make Ironman" option. Players are be able to choose from four different Ironman modes. More information about each of these modes can be found below.

Group ironman is another ironman mode where players are able to trade items with other group ironmen if they are in the same group, in addition to the standard restritions given to all ironmen. Group ironman members can only join a group on Tutorial island. Make sure everybody gets online and joins their group on Tutorial Island before heading out. Should an ironman group become inactive there is the option to join another group by using a Group change token.
