The Dragon platebody requires a defence level of 60 to wear. It is one of the platebodies with the highest defensive stats ingame.

The dragon platebody can only be created by smithing the Ruined dragon armour lump, the Ruined dragon armour slice and the Ruined dragon armour shard together at an anvil. This requires a Smithing level of 90 and a Blast fusion hammer in your inventory. Creating the dragon platebody will grant 966 smithing experience. These dragon armour pieces can be obtained as a very rare drop from the bosses Chaos Elemental, Chronozon and King Black Dragon.
