Vesta's spear is a strong Ancient weapon obtained as a rare drop from the Spectral tender. It requires 78 Attack and Strength to equip. The special attack costs 50% of your special attack bar and hits your target four times: the first and second hits are 6.25% of the total damage, the third hit is 75% of the total damage, and the last hit is 12.5% of the total damage. The hits appear in that order.

Vesta's spear has a similar corrupt version, which requires a lower Attack level, provides less bonuses, and loses its special attack.

Once used in combat, Vesta's spear is no longer tradable and can only be repaired by using Ancient energy on it. Recharging it to full with the ancient energy will not make it tradable again, however. After 3,000 hits, the spear will crumble into dust if not recharged.

Trivia

Vesta's spear is infamous for being the target of various adjustments to its stats and special attack, changes which often made it too good or not good at all.
Vesta's spear is tied with the Zamorakian spear for the highest attack bonus of any two-handed melee weapon.
The special attack's total damage is often comparable to the special attack of the Armadyl godsword or the Dragon claws. Despite the high damage potential, however, the special attack is known to be quite inaccurate.
