The Steel platelegs require a Defence level of 5 to wear. It can be obtained as a drop from Hill giants. It can be purchased for 1,184 coins in the Armour shop in Barbarian village and Al-Kharid. It can also be made by using the Smithing skill. This requires a smithing level of 46 and 3 Steel bars and will grant 780 smithing experience. The steel platelegs provide the same stats as the Steel plateskirt, they just look different.
