The black sq shield requires a defence level of 10 to be worn. It can be purchased for 1 357 coins in the shield shop in Falador. Black knights are also known to drop the black sq shield as well as other black armour parts. The black sq shield provides the same stats as the black kiteshield, they just look differently.
