The iron sq shield requires a defence level of 1 to be worn. It can be purchased for 214 coins in the shield shop in Falador. It can also be made by using the smithing skill. This requires a smithing level of 23 and 2 iron bars and will grant 360 smithing XP. The iron sq shield provides the same stats as the iron kiteshield, they just look differently.
