The Dragon hatchet requires an attack level of 60 to be equiped. The dragon hatchet is usually only used for the Woodcutting skill; a Woodcutting]] level of 60 is required to be able to cut logs with it. It is considered as the best hatchet for Woodcutting currenty in game.

Hatchets can be used from their inventory to cut wood with, if the player does not have the required Attack level to equip it.
