Maple shortbows require a Ranged level of 30 to wield. You can obtain Maple shortbows from Tower archers or with the Fletching skill, this requires 45 Fletching, Maple logs and Bowstrings. You can also buy them from Lowe in Varrock and Catherby for 491 coins.

Making a Maple shortbow requires a Fletching level of 45, and will grant you 849 Fletching experience in total. You can use up to Adamant arrows with the Maple shortbow.
