[[Rune essence]] is required to make runes in Emps-World. It can be mined from the Rune essence rocks inside the [[Rune essence mine]] or dropped from various [[Slayer]] monsters or [[Bosses]]. Players can reach the [[Rune essence mine]] by asking [[Aubury]] in [[Varrock]], [[Port Sarim]] or [[Ardougne]] to teleport them.

Rune essence grants 44 [[Mining]] experience when mined and can be mined at level 1 [[Mining]].
