Hi guys!
I'm proud to finally present you our huge PvP update. We're releasing ancient armours and their weapons. You can find their requirements by clicking on the appropriate skill icons. (Defence shows all armours!)
- Vesta
- Statius
- Morrigan
- Zuriel
Where can I get it?Ancient equipment is dropped by spectrals. They can be found at the Forgotten Cemetary in level 33 wilderness. (north-western part) Don't forget to bring a spade, you'll be digging the graves at this graveyard. (There is a hidden spade too, for the lazy ones or those who just tend to forget special items
)

As you can see, using prayer against them (like I do...) isn't suggested. They do additional hits on you if you feel like activating ANY prayer!
Overall there are 4 different spectrals to drop 4 different armours/weapons:
- Spectral tender (light brown): Vesta's equipment
- Spectral worshipper (red): Statius's equipment
- Spectral cultivator (green): Morrigan's equipment (that's the one I'm fighting in the screenshot of above!)
- Spectral attendant (blue): Zuriel's equipment
How does the new equipment work?Ancient armours and weapons work like barrows equipment. They degrade with every hit. The difference to barrows though is, that they completely degrade. That means that there is no way to repair them once their 3.000 hits are used up. The only way to repair ancient armours and weapons is to use
Ancient Energy. That can be obtained by killing other players wearing ancient equipment or by picking it up as drops from Spectrals. They can only be traded if they have not been used in combat before! Recharging them to full with the energy will not make them tradable again.
New special attacks?Every non-corrupt weapon comes with a unique special attack: (except for Zuriel's staff, our staves have no special attacks but don't be sad, it's super strong!)
- Vesta's spear: Does 3 quick hits on your enemy. This special attack has a very high max hit but please bear in mind that the hits are delayed, so eating between those is possible!
- Vesta's longsword: Works like a dragon longsword. You have 4 special attacks that are very accurate and hit a lot
- Statius's warhammer: Strikes your enemy and decreases their defence immediately by 20%, no matter what you hit!
- Morrigan's javelin: Hits your enemy and inflicts the same amount of damage as bleeding effect over 5 seconds.
- Morrigan's throwing axe: Does a strong attack on your enemy. The fact that it has 4 special attacks makes it a valuable ranged weapon for special attacks.
In other newsAs always, we have a list of little fixes across Emps-World:
- Dragon defender fixed. Its white has finally vanished.
- Other spell's maxhits are no longer affected by Rod of Ivandis or god staves.
- Item drop timer increased. If you die your items are now appearing 3 minutes for yourself and additional 5 minutes afterwards for everyone. (It should be an assistance for people dieing upon disconnects. Please bear in mind that the perfect solution is still a Guardian Angel though. You can buy one in Edgeville's Monastery.
- Brighter trees. I've updated trees globally, they should look better now.
- A bug was fixed where you would always cast an additional spell when moved your character somewhere.
- KBD defence level lowered by a lot.
- Dharok's max hit reduced when he's damaged.
Last but not least...I've placed some snow drifts in Falador. You can make snowballs and throw them at your friends! Moreover, you can also find a Christmas tree there now.
We've also temporarily enabled the Special Delivery quest again, where you have to talk to Santa in Falador's park.
