When turning some graphics settings off sometimes things disappear.
EXAMPLES:
At godwars, if you have distant fog off - you will not see the rock down to the boss room.
Some stepping stones disappears when having ground textures off.

The stepping stones one gets fixed by turning it on and off again..

Different heights is usually bugging the maps, but they all help you with your FPS.. so either high FPS or proper maps..

Soon you won't need to trade good graphics for bad fps and vice versa.. So lets wait for that!

I know - I turn them off for better FPS..
but I thought there could be a way that both function well.

That'd be great!

Toggling them on/off is the only way to cope with this at the moment.

Not all of them work with toggling them off/on, like the rock in Godwars with distant fog off for instance..

I guess we'll just have to wait for Thomy to fix this.
