Debates / Re: Vegans
« on: January 11, 2017, 05:58:16 pm »
I dont care what an adult eats because thats solely his choice, but I do think that a growing child would need vitamins and protein from meat. The process of growing up is difficult and your body really needs the right amount of ingredients. Sure, you can take supplements but the body binds vitamins and protein with food way easier.

All the people saying veganism is the healthiest choice: please look at Japan which has the longest life expectancy and people there eat A LOT of fish products.
Apart from some fatty acids which most of the people get via supplements anyway, a well sustained vegan diet contains all the required proteins, vitamins and micronutrients anyone would need :/
Bashing it for that (at least to me) sounds pretty naive and plain childish.

People don't bash vegans for their diet, they bash them because so manY vegans keep seeking attention with yelling ''YO LOOK AT ME I'M A VEGAN''.
This is what i meant when i mentioned earlier that veganism and feminism are bashed for same kinds of reasons. It's sad that by being too agressive with trying to do good (their way if doing it is to make people eat less meat) vegans ultimately only grow hatred towards their way of living

As for Japan, i'm pretty sure it's not the amount of fish consumed that correlates with life expectancy.

As a person that eats meat but has lived with a vegan for several years, i'm trying to have an unbiased opinion about this. Veganism has (for largely same reasons as feminism) received a widely negative reputation, and faces lots of critique from media (and largely the same people that critisize feminism), even though going vegan is almost always a result of wanting other animals and eating healthy.  Dumping veganism is accepted, but saying publicly that people should support eating unhealthy foods or kill more animals is at the very least dumb. As for its healthiness, many studies have proved veganism to improve health and decrease risks of numerous cancers and heart diseases. Though requiring more work, having a vegan diet with all of the vitamins, proteins and carbohydrates  in it is definitely not impossible. Even economically this would be easier, as meat-based foods are way pricier than vegetable-based.
Conclusion: Veganism takes more work, but is better for your health,  your wallet and those poor and defenceless level 2 chicken.
I would not encourage people to go completely vegan, but would suggest either completely giving up or at least reducing their consumption of meat.

Suggestions & Ideas / Making Double xp scrolls tradeable.
« on: January 07, 2017, 02:14:47 pm »
As you all propably know 90% of the people (not accurate, don't start telling me about that) stopped using double xp scrolls after they were moved from the EP shop to the EC shop. Most of the people using them nowadays are ones that luckily happened to have tons of them banked before the update and even they are propably slowly starting to run out of them. Those who are willing to pay real money for them have a huge advantage xp efficiencywise, but can't change their scrolls to in-game wealth.
Currently the EC shop has 2 tradeable items that aren't related to clothes or armour (mystery box usually contains a clothing so it isn't included), so xp scrolls being tradeable would increase the variety nicely. As i already stated, there are those who have tons of them banked and would profit from this in the beginning in addition to keeping its price down, but after a while the price would beome stable. More people would have access to the scrolls and people who invest real money would get wealthy. With more demand for EC items their prices would rise which again would make investing real money to buy EC more profitable and compelling. I see this as a win-win, but i'd be happy to hear if you have good reasons why this shouldn't be added.

Isn't this just going to make GWD more deserted? The item prices are really low so even when the dungeon was easier, noone was really motivated to go there (except ironmen of course)  :-\

GWD drops have been improved too.
guud, don't know if just getting more skilling items will bring people back there

Where else would particles be cool?
I did the artwork for you.

Feedback / Re: Buffing XP when making arrows/bolts/darts
« on: December 03, 2016, 04:18:45 pm »
Who fletches arrows in 2k16??
Noone makes arrows or darts, only darts worth using are the dragon ones and they can't even be made with fletching.
Basically this would only be useful if fletching dragon darts would be added (which i don't want as it would just crash them).
As for bolts, i guess fixing the xp rates wouldn't be bad, but they will still never be an efficient way of training fletching, nor should they be. Fletching bows is just fine.

Hello, kinda got bored from 07 and got banned on cs:go so I'm back
Emps world: only worth playing when all the other options are gone.
I agree with you. I mean economy sucks not even worth pvming anymore. Prices are so low, dead wildy, xp rates keeps increasing which I hate.
My sarcasm was sadly accurate.
