The monsters or bosses aren't anymore too easy. Especially now that they were buffed some time ago, they are really challenging. One quite big reason to why there is overload of them in my opinion is too high combat xp rates. People can quickly get their combat stats almost maxed, and after making a few days of money, they have enough money to buy a good gear and start bossing. Reducing xp rates to 40-60/hit would make getting maxed combat stats harder which would add more challenge. The drop rates shouldn't be touched, as nowadays many prescious drops are already crazy hard to get, which i have already realised during my few weeks of ironmaning. Getting a new way of sinking items could be a good feature, do you have any more specific idea regarding this?

for me this only sounds like an over complicated way of adding new space to inventory. I think the 28 slots are just fine, and they usually can handle all the loot from monsters. Just bank sometimes and keep going! :)

We should be able to choose what items we don't lose upon death. I know that usually the system automatically picks the most prescious items, but sometimes, you see it saving rune gloves instead of something a lot more prescious. Getting the system to know perfectly what items are most important to save would be almost impossible, so i suggest adding ability to choose the items. The system would choose default items to be saved, but you could drag items to change the saved ones. This could improve the item saving system, and be a great new feature :)
I'd be happy to see your opinions and comments about the suggestion!

when walking from barbarian village to varrock, after bridge the northern guard can be removed by lighting a fire on top of it. This only work on that 1 guard.

Yeah I remember.

Updating the game = new players (or old ones not quitting)

I did not say updates should stop, i said we should also focus on gaining players instead of JUST Updates! Of Course we need updates, i agree but i think we also need to focus on gaining more players.

Thanks to thomy having started upating the game again, i'm pretty sure the player amount HAS increased. That's the power of updates :)

Well, we already have 3 member only slayer dungeons and varrock slayer dungeon has Tormented Demons, which are quite challenging monsters. Also, we need all the new drops and specific monsters which in my opinion isnt the primary priority right now.
Most of the drops could be ones that would be obtainable from non-member dungeons too, we'd just need some new monsters and 1-2 bosses that would have new drops.

2009 I'd say, fishing at rimmington, home at falador, barrows in gnome dungeon, 800 players... good times.

But I still really like it as it is now.
Your signature says you've been playing since 2010 so... how could you have fished in rimmington in 2009? :)

This has a lot of potential to be a great new feature. I only have a few things:

Amount of PK points could depend on the level difference between players (for example: if your combat level is 100, you only get a few points from killing someone with combat level 80, but lots from killing level 120).

To reduce boosting, could require a certain level to obtain points, this combined with the first suggestion could pretty efficiently stop boosting.

You could only obtain points from killing the same player once a day.

The shop could be a combination of rare cosmetics and useful weapons/armor/tools.

You could buy titles from the shop, the titles would only last ~30 days, and after that you'd have to buy new one, title would be hideable in the settings.

Overall a great suggestion :)

Here in forums i've seen 2 topics that could make something great if combined. Thomy was asking people what they'd want to be added in future updates, and Charr was talking about improving membership. My idea was to combine them and make a new member-only dungeon with new loot and mobs. It would be really interesting to explore but would also make membership worth more. I personally think the dungeon should also be really high-level one, so it would draw the strongest players, as otherwise it wouldn't really stand out and be that interesting.
What do you think? I'd like to see your opinions :)
