Events / Emps-World: Battle Royale 3

Description: Welcome to the third installment of the one and only Emps-World battle royale! Players will fight in a last man standing match, will you survive the onslaught?
Date: September 16th, 2018
Time: 1pm EST
Location: Obsidian Caves (Fight Pits)
How will this work?
Players will enter this event with absolutely nothing, JP will drop items in the playing field before you guys go in. Once all items are confirmed to be dropped, you guys will be given the green light to enter. Items will appear on the ground while you guys are fighting each other, try to pick them up to assist you on winning the event.
Rules:
1. Participants are not allowed to bring anything with them, you will be DQ'd if you use your own items. (Might do inventory check)
2. Please follow the instructions of the host/staff members, your cooperation will make this event that much fun!
3. Iron man accounts won't be able to participate due to the fact that they won't be able to see the dropped items/pick them up.
4. Protect prayers are not allowed to be used.
5. Go Hard or Go Home.
Rewards:
1st Place: Demon Saber + 5 event tickets
2nd Place: Battle Robe Set + 3 event tickets

All other participants will receive 1 event ticket for participating.

Please ask any question you may have and we will try our best to answer them for you, hope to see everyone there!

Inviting all players to test their skills against each other and prove that they're the very best! It will be intense one on one combat with players from all over the world, will you be able to survive the onslaught and claim the mighty throne? We shall await your arrival mighty warrior!

Rules
1. There will be no movement during the duels.
2. You will not start your fight until the host is there to spectate.
3. You will gear up exactly how you would for pking. (Weapons, Armor, Potions, Food, and prayer will also be used)
4. All combat styles allowed.
5.Give it your best!

Rewards:
1st Place: Armadyl godsword + 5 event tickets (10 ep tickets for iron account)
2nd place: 5 event tickets
3rd place: 3 event tickets

All participants will receive 1 event ticket.

In my serious opinion this will defeat the purpose of implementing group bosses, I really liked this because it encouraged people to come together for a common purpose. (Get rare drops together and be all hyped about it)

1. Single or multi zone?

The fight pits is a multi zone.

2. Isn't only 1 dds kinda too unbalanced? I mean without protection prayers that one guy who gets his hands on dds will have huuuge advantage.

Na, I don't think so. We're also dropping d claws, d mace, and g maul which should balance it out. (These items might not even be picked up.)

Mixing these type of accounts with normal accounts in pvp is a no-no. It won't work no matter how much you try to figure out a way around it. The only way to make this possible is by making it a separate world (similar to w3, new accounts), but then it will separate the player base.

This is true, the problem is the player base we have now is low enough for 1 server.

HOWEVER
can we just try it for a limited time ? like a month or so to see how things go ?
Like opening w2 to be a pking server only with thomy focusing on what the ' Expert pkers ' suggests
However it should be mentioned every time a player login that this project is limited and it might close within a month / 60 days or so.

Creating a whole new server for pvp using world 2 does seem interesting but we must not forgot that Thomy is the only developer here and i'm pretty sure he's going to have his hands full with updating this server alone, I can just imagine the work that's going to be put on him if we were to open world 2 as a spawn pk server. I was actually looking for ways to improve pvp on our current server without destroying the economy of course.
