Videos / Har'Lakk

Hi. This didin't went as I imagined. So basically, it's just a simple video of me soloing Har'Lakk. I did two kills. First kill (didin't recorded it) was just to remember him because I haven't killed him in ages. But first kill was a bit easier cos I took some energy pots. ( Idk why I didin't have em second time..)

Aight, enough of explaining how bad I'm at it, just watch the clip.


As you saw in video, I failed a lot. I kind of thought of doing another kill properly but actually this is what you can expect when you go solo. Not everything goes like you want to, so that's kind of reason I did upload this. ( Plus it's the most cancerous boss in Emps and it takes too long to kill it solo..)
Btw, some of you probably noticed that I used just two bgs special attack's. While I was killing him the spec bar must've reached 100% again, so feel free to spec him again with bgs or with demon longbow in my case.
And maybe after DXP weekend I will upload a clip where I'll show you how easier it is to kill him with team.

Diamond necklace - Necklace of Balance (e) - Gives luck during agility. (Same amount as Strung rabbit foot or lower amount.)
I had also brought up the idea of buffing the agile set in discord awhile ago but the messages got buried. Currently Brimhaven is lacking in significant rewards due to most of them being cosmetic or simply not working as intended, one of those being the agile set. Only one piece gives the weight reduction of -10 kg and that’s about it.

Would be nice to see this set get a rework and an additional ability along these lines. Splitting the reduced weight or adding another -10 to the other piece that’s missing it would help it out. I also discussed the possibility of it giving you increased success chances with agility and also thieving as thieving doesn’t have any significant boosts aside from the rabbit foot which has a quite annoying crafting requirement. Would give more reason to actually collect some tickets from the arena.

Hello everyone!
As the title suggests, I would like to share with you this idea of introducing a new slayer master that assigns wilderness tasks only together with a bunch of new bosses.
You might think that we don't have that many monsters/bosses in the wilderness aside from revenants, spectrals, gulegas, wildywyrm, chaos elemental and some other monsters such as dragons, zombies and skeletons.
However, with this new slayer master there will be newly added wilderness bosses and monsters to cope up with the slayer tasks the player will get. I feel like the wilderness map is so huge and almost feels empty that we could take advantage of that by adding new bosses and monsters in different locations around the wilderness.

Back to the main core of the topic. Why would the player choose to take tasks from this slayer master called The Reaper
Well, completing tasks in the wilderness should be rewarding and for that the player will gain extra slayer points. Secondly, we could add new slayer items to the shop that could benefit the player while slaying in the wilderness.
*Feel free to discuss what items* Maybe even introduce a new slayer tab with unlockables such as extending a task more than the limit. For example, some tasks can only be extended to 8 kills as maximum. With this new unlockable method you could learn to extend your tasks even more. Many more unlockables could be added of course, this is just an example.

As for wilderness bosses and monsters. There are plenty of ideas and suggestions. Here are some that were suggested by the community in-game 

Zulrah
Can be harmed with Range and magic attacks. It is also reachable with a halberd/spear. Has 3 different phases/mechanics and inflicts poison damage that can stack up to 10+.
Drops could be scales (similar to vyrewatch blood) that can be used to recharge the new blowpipe/bow/staff/dagger or a new helmet. Drops can be further discussed/altered.
This is just a layout for this idea.
Could be introduced through a new quest or by having a specific required slayer level in order to be killed.


Callisto
A fierce bear found in the wilderness able to knock players out for 3 seconds and can deal high amount of damage. Barrows armour such as veracs and torags can be effective against him. Together with a group of friends or strangers you can take him down and get the chance to receive new rings/scrolls, maybe an amulet that boosts the barrow armour set effect? or a new pet. *Drops can be discussed*

I found a model that currently exists in-game which could be replaced instead of that old version.

@wg you can remove my name from the list lol he does not listen to me. And i agree that the change he did to rev cave was rushed and a very bad one, he ruined our whole competetive scene and revs aren't worth killing anymore. The only way we can bring the community together is to promote activities that make us interact with eachother but majority of the active players are ironmen so it's going to be difficult. I don't know why I'm still talking in the form of 'we' i guess it's an old habit but clearly there's no point in me pointing out any flaws anymore as there are like 1-2 people who actually discuss and care. I'm rather disappointed in the staff team for not doing anything significant to make things better, they mostly sit like trophies in a museum, waiting for someone to do something or for something to happen out of the air.

born an idea, if bonfire made in wildy so other players who stands close to him could get restored hp and prayer, like magic logs restores prayer and yew - hp, like other logs gives antipoison or something like that, would be useable in wildy and higher demand of logs

hello i have idea. to buff troll general and add any better iteams, cause emps world doest have much bosses.
i think its add one more great boss to game and you can add any new iteam on it just buff him.

Hello!
I have been playing this server almost since it came out. Due to lack of player I did quit. Despite that, i remember everything associated with this server. There were a lot of players who did not want to grind as hard as in runescape and there were players who just joined in order to enjoy the uinque content.

The unique content made this server one of the best in kind. I really do not know the version of the game (bc it was a really long time ago). But the times when AGS was the best weapon in game. There werent any statius or vesta e.t.c. Young people came by because the contet of this server was really good. You could play just minigames in order to gear up. Pretty much all the skills worked perfectly.

My suggestion is that we should go a bit back in time with this server. Reset items, lets do some advertisement and there will be new players for sure.(sounds easy but if you guys put your heads together, you could do amazing things, you just need enthusiasm.) There are so many server like this ( emps world right now) but there isnt any old one, which is perfectly working.

I think that staff team should really look into a mirror and ask themselves: "how long it can carry on?" I see that Thomy dont have that much time like in past. Yes, staff team got good experiences  (no judgement), but lack of enthusiasm is the key to failure. There must be someone who could just relook everything. Make some polls.on topics what players really want.

Thats all for now, if i missed something or i am wrong let me know. In my opinion the server should be relooked.

Or make use of the unlit beacons scattered around the map. Basically, every couple of hours they would become lit at random times and a message appears to everyone telling that you can use them as a bonfire. Additionaly, there is that wooden chest nearby the beacon. I am thinking maybe the player could use it as a storage unit for logs or something that can extend the fire duration?
We also have one in the frosty part of the wilderness, so if someone wants that extra xp he/she can ;)

Lets add bonfires to spice up the fire making skill a bit, This can be a group training method.

Adding logs to a fire will prompt a "craft" message in the chat box(e.g. Use 1,5,10 or X amount of logs) and the player will begin Firemaking.
And adding a % boost when players join in the bonfire. Lets cap it at 10% when there are 4+ players(So for 2 players its a 3% boost, 3 players, 6% and 4, 10%)
Normal fires last about 1 minute 10 seconds, so bonfires can last 30-50 seconds if no logs are put in.

It's 2019 and we're still burning logs in a straight line. This is embarrasing. :'(

I agree with most of the skills being added to daily tasks, except prayer, its often left alone past 99(which is very easy to obtain) and wouldn't be productive to implement.

I'd also like to add a suggestion, Give each daily task an expiration date(e.g. 24 hours) so that undesirable tasks can be replaced instead of being left untouched and forgotten.

I don't know how many of you see this as an issue but i feel like i should point out that our current prayer flicking system is a bit unfair towards the person who is attacking someone who's protect praying. Now that after the next update you can only have one offensive prayer on, i state that bridding will become stale. You have to focus on gear switches + offensive pray switching and it will be incredibly easy to pray flick your hit. In Osrs, if you are late with the pray switch, aka the moment your arrow/spell/attack is made, it cannot be reduced "midair" but in emps you can literally put on protection pray right before the attack hits you to avoid the damage. Being late with a pray flick in pvp scenario needs to be punished.

i suggest to add:
  • prayer - bury all kinds of bones
  • hunter - this skill aint even in daily tasks, would be great if add
  • fletching - add to make like sapphire bolts (mithril bolts + sapphire bolt tips)
  • crafting - add to cut uncuts, cut gems to bolt tips, make rings, necklaces and amulets
  • thieving - this skill aint even in daily tasks, would be great if add
  • herblore - add to clean herbs
  • smithing - add to smelt bars



and one more thing... opal bolts :D they are in game but cannot be used... so remove them or do useable.. easy

anger weapons - those mechanics... in past was better, when mace/axe smashes thats awfull...
