Suggestions & Ideas / Change Teleport tablets icons.
« on: June 02, 2019, 06:45:07 pm »
Idea is to change teleport tablets icons to something else so they all don't look the same.
Maybe leave Varrock, Lumbride, Falador, Camelot, Ardougne, Watchtower, Home teleport tab icons as is and change other ones to their first letter just like Varrock teleport tab has V on it. Otherwise have to hover over every teletab in bank to find the right one.

Thanks in advance for reading this.

Feedback / Re: Strung Rabbit Foot, Agile Set & Others
« on: May 17, 2019, 08:11:07 am »
Strung Rabbit Foot:
I totally agree with you, especially for iron-men 95 crafting is way too high.

Agile Set:
I agree with this too, giving some agility bonus would be great.
NOTE: about unlimited run for members, they told me it got removed because of the wildy system, I suggest to enable it for none-wildy area only, same as hits and other wildy system that only works in wildy..

Brimhaven Rewards:
yes most of the rewards there are cosmetic items only, xp lamps would be nice.

Thieving Additions?
I suggest to make Investigator's set same as Agile set but gives thieving xp bonus.

Feedback / Strung Rabbit Foot, Agile Set & Others
« on: May 17, 2019, 07:43:09 am »
More random feedback that I posted in Discord. Most of these were buried as well so I made another thread.

Strung Rabbit Foot:
Currently the only item in-game that provides any sort of bonus to thieving, the strung rabbit foot has a really ridiculous crafting requirement making it quite a pain to get. Considering how easy it is already to get a rabbit foot, it makes this thing have an unnecessary grind IMO. While the amulet does have other uses in other skills giving it more value, I could see bumping down the steep crafting level requirement a bit to make it more feasible for most players to get. 80-85 crafting seems more fair compared to the current 95.

If some of the other changes I bring up occur, then this requirement change could be ignored. But as of now, being the only useful item for thieving and agility(?) with such a steep crafting requirement is just tedious.

Agile Set:
This set is rather upsetting in its current state. The -10kg weight it provides isn't even distributed properly (possible bug?), making the legs the only useful part of the set. And it doesn't really have much more use aside from that. Now that we no longer have unlimited run energy as members, it has definitely gotten some more use, but the set is still lacking IMO, as it pretty much is the only good item you can get from actually doing the Brimhaven agility course.

Some tweaks that we've brainstormed/discussed:
-Split the weight reduction evenly between both pieces or give the top -10kg as well
-Give the set a bonus for agility and, preferably, thieving as well; increased success chances on completing an obstacle or successfully pickpocketing would be really beneficial
-Slight xp boost from agility could be useful as well; giving the set an additional +5% xp split between both pieces would be a nice bonus
-No damage from failing obstacles: this would be nice for lower levels
-Extra tickets from the dispensers?

Brimhaven Rewards:
Speaking of Brimhaven, the rewards at the moment aren't really that exciting either. There are, at most, 2 useful items in the shop you'd want to grab currently: the agile legs and the black cavalier for clue scrolls, totaling up to only 444 tickets. Everything else is a useless cosmetic, and while cosmetics are nice, there isn't much purpose going past the 444 tickets to get more rewards currently. Other reward exchanges have been getting some nice updates, so I think this shop could use one as well.

Some possible additions:
-Agility xp lamps
-Something that increases agility/thieving success rates (should agile set NOT be updated with those changes)
-Something that booses agility/thieving xp (should agile set NOT be updated with those changes)
-??? Something else, I'm not sure what though

Adding in more ways to be rewarded with xp would be nice, as the mid-level grind of agility is atrocious as you're pretty limited in your choices. The addition of xp lamps, or possibly, a way to turn your tickets in for xp could help with this grind, as JP put it in discord:
Quote from: JP
levels 40 - 75/80 or so
you only do 1 obstacle for xp during those lvls right now
would give u a reason to do full arena

Thieving Additions?
Thieving has been in sort of a content drought for awhile it feels like... We really haven't gotten much for it recently. Since most herblore changes would be tied in with thieving due to Master Farmers, it was a shame that it wasn't the case with Fellstalk seeds/Morchella Mushroom spores, correct me if I'm wrong. Major thieving additions have been discussed before that I recall - Pyramid Plunder was brought up a couple times - but I don't even think we need something that major to be added to just give thieving some fresh air. New NPCs/Stalls to steal from could be nice, alongside some new items related to the skill that improve the xp/success rates as I mentioned earlier. Just to make the skill a bit more exciting.

If I'm missing a specific updating for it let me know, because I can't really recall any recent updates for the skill in a long time.

Suggestions & Ideas / wilderness skilling area.
« on: April 22, 2019, 03:59:45 pm »
wilderness skilling area

I thought that we can give the pkers and the skillers the opportunity to face to face each other in the wilderness. I believe that there are many players who know this area, it will be a good idea to put this area in the game. More illustration through the images and information that I will put it below.

The location of the area will be at 59 level in wilderness:

You should to pay 5,000 Gp before you enter to this area.

What is gonna be in this area and why this area good for the skillers?
  • Fury shark: new tier 90 level fishing.
  • Brawling gloves: we all know that the brawling gloves give +50%XP and +100%XP in the wilderness, so you can gain more XP in that area.
  • In that area you can Note or Unnote the skilling resources by speaking to NPC there, you should pay 250 Gp each one skill item.

The amount of experience expected to be:

Fishing:        = 1,250XP     DXP + Member + Brawling gloves = +260% = 3,250XP
Cooking:      = 1,830XP       DXP + Member + Brawling gloves = +260% = 4,758XP
Woodcutting:       = 687XP     DXP + Member + Brawling gloves = +260% = 1,786XP
Mining:      =  892XP     DXP + Member + Brawling gloves = +260% = 2,319XP
Smithing:    = 560XP     DXP + Member + Brawling gloves = +260% = 2,319XP

This is also a chance for the pkers because they will find many players traning there so you should to watch out when you go there, you must prepare yourself from all the dangers that will face you there.
I suggest you bring these things in your bag as you see in the picture:

How to go to there:
Go to Ardounge and follow the pictures:
1)
2)

Suggestions & Ideas / Re: Competitive Mode: Seasonal Event
« on: April 12, 2019, 05:24:37 pm »
I would like to thank you all for the feedback! How about if we have 3 winners for each season, one winner for each category?

Best Skiller of the season (Highest total exp on skilling skills only)
Best Pvmer of the season (Highest value of items in bank from monster drops) (Competitive accounts will not be able to trade items/coins)
Best Pvp'er of the season (Member with the most ELO) <- I know this can be farmed, but staff will keep an eye on pvp'ers and permanently ban any players cheating on sight.

Also, I would like to mention that the rewards can be many things. The reward doesn't have to focus on old school oldies, we can give new items away that are only obtainable through this event... I will not put too much thought on the reward, I would like to bring in a new/unique fun way to introduce seasonal events to Emps-World for everyone to enjoy! Would this be a way to get everyone involved, let me know what you think!

Suggestions & Ideas / Competitive Mode: Seasonal Event
« on: April 12, 2019, 10:45:19 am »
Hello, everyone. I've realized that there is a lot of hype around old school rares and was thinking of a fair/competitive way to introduce more into the game (also add new exclusive ones). I figured why not a seasonal competition? I would like to introduce Competitive Mode to Emps-World... it's basically the same as ironman mode but instead of 80 experience per hit you will only receive 10 experience per hit.

How will the winner be chosen?
Option 1: The first player to max their account will be declared the winner of the season.
Option 2: Players are given a deadline and the account with the most experience after the competition is over will be declared the winner.
(all competitive accounts will be wiped once a season is over)

How often should this competition be hosted?
Option 1: Seasonal (Summer, Winter, Fall, Spring)
Option 2: Once a year

Would this be something you guys would like to see, we would love to hear your opinions!

Now keep in mind that he's currently the easiest GWD boss to eliminate. Meaning that if you want to buff his droptable you would need to make him slightly stronger to cope up.
I mean, not necessarily? I think he's in a fine spot at the moment. If you're basing your observations off of running full max gear with overloads and brews then of course he's going to be a cake walk. Even if you buff him to cope, he's most likely still going to be the easiest boss available in GWD which I don't think is a bad thing anyway. Not all of the GWD bosses have to be bogged down with unnecessary difficulty and annoying mechanics.

However, I don't think his super attack potion drops should be replaced with super restores. I think that's what General graardor is for.
Of all the supers, attacks are probably the easiest to make in terms of resources. Most players also use restores more than they use attacks. I understand where you're coming from though by keeping it niche.

I feel like there should be another way around of obtaining s str pots other than just farming limpwurt roots, no?
Graardor's seed drops are pretty filler as well, I could see swapping out one of them for limpwurt roots or seeds being a nice change.
