True, flax collecting is very annoying right now. Mostly people choose to camp Kree'arra to get bow strings but it's kind of hard grind.

Where could they be added as drops though? And maybe make it like limpwurts at hill giants. Someone could drop one noted string/flax and add rare 50-200(?) noted drop.
I got a bigger idea actually, I'll try to post today.

Black robes have 10 defence requirement for having the word black in the item name, dragon defender has no defence requirement.

I would love to have the slayer helm 55 defence requirement lowered to, for example, 10 - it's originally created from a black mask. The stats could scale up to 55 or we could have the regular slayer helm requiring 10 defence and the full version 55 - in which case I would love the regular version to be dyable.

MUTANT TARNS HAVE 95 SLAYER REQUIREMENT and their best drops are seercull and climbing boots. Ice strykewyrms, which drop the best in slot boots, have a requirement of 87 slayer - this is nonsense. I suggest lowering tarns to 70ish slayer since their drops are dead content by level 95.

Strung rabbit foot can be crafted with a rabbit foot and a ball of wool, this requires level 95 Crafting. The 95 crafting requirement for it seems crazy for such a goofy item. I mean you can wear best in slot gear at base 80s.

Another quality of life tweak that's been bugging the hell out of me is the dialogue that appears when stringing bows - there's only 1 action, I don't think a dialogue interface is required or atleast make it skippable by pressing spacebar. Herblore has the same mechanic but no dialogue.

Oh and also please make anvils clickable, having to use a bar on them is just nasty.

I did not say one bad word about your people. All I said was that you can gather 20 PKers in the blink of an eye yet you can't get one to give some feedback. Stop being so sensitive.

Now to the topic.

Healing:

Overloads are way too overpowered in PvP. You boost all your stats to 122 and can take a full inventory of brews with a couple of prayer potions/restores. Brewing while overloaded has no consequence and I feel that should take a huge nerf. Combo eating is cool, drinking potions aswell as brews while in combat should not delay you. The overload restore effect is the key here I suppose, nerf it super hard or even remove it - this makes you think twice while brewing since brewing forces you to drink a restore, brewing twice disables you from using spells and so on.

Melee:

Long story short melee is garbage at the moment. KO weapons such as claws and AGS are terrible, claws are buggy and AGS is so inaccurate it's a joke. Only way to get a KO while melee pking is through a lucky vengeance + dh axe/gladiator maul combo where you don't die yourself. You could still say melee beats ranged 1v1 even though melee KO weapons are super inconsistent while deep pking. Say you get a big bolt, switch to barrage and get a big barrage and go for the KO - claws sometimes get the work done, haven't got a single kill with AGS. AGS should perform well atleast against range gear - it doesn't.

Magic:

Tbh magic is in a good spot. High tier spells on normal spellbook wouldn't hurt, but aren't required since it's a utility spellbook and you can use rod or zuriel staff while on it.

Range:

Now this is the big issue here. Bolts are crazy good - javs are just strong. You can't fight a ranger without having to fear the random 80 bolt.  My last experience pking against range is losing literal BILLIONS to 75+ bolt KOs cause I don't want to be an asshole brewing on 75. Bolts have way too high strenght bonus, maybe even range overall. Also the overall defence of range is outclassing others. As I said in the original post you can tribrid a ranger not switching between protection prayers while protecting range and you get outdamaged - insane. Range and bolts need a strong nerf, slightly adjusting javs will do the trick. Currently the "utility" onyx bolt is the highest hitting bolt - this should be rhe ruby bolt which's special attack lets you hit high but punishes you with losing hitpoints. Currently the only way to beat range is bis melee gear and brewing on 75.

Drugs brought out the fact that prayer isn't draining quick enough - true. Enabling you to use one combat style at once and increasing the drain rates should be nice.
PvP armors that have the smite increase are nice and all, but have really low defence compared to other armors and you can't really smite anyone since you're taking too much damage. Could be ofcourse that the nerf of range also fixes this.


Probably said a couple things twice and forgot to mention a couple things.

After all I'd say don't go for a big update changing the whole scenario. Try small tweaks in small periods and see how things work out and I belive we could fix this.

If we increase powercreep and increase healing time then a new source of healing should be introduced. 23+16 is no way to tank if you get red bared. Should be like a ~10 hp third type of healing so you could basically eat the 3 types in 1 "tick" and don't die every time you fall under 5hp. And honestly I don't even think that the speed of healing is a problem. People just seem to enjoy sitting high hp and not risking their gear. So the change wouldn't really have an affect on PvP.

Was thinking about adding an upgrade for ava's to Emps-Wars. Could be at a ~300 ticket price point and the upgrade would grant 100% ammo pickup and a slight increase in offensive stats. Death mechanics should be the same as with Katana I suppose.

Also had an idea about god books, could be reworked alongside god robes  ::) - adding pages to the book would grant bonuses in a certain combat style: we have mages book for magic, so unholy book for melee offense, holy book for melee defense and book of balance for range.

God robes are dead content and pures lack equipment. #makepuresgreatagain

I'd also like to touch on slayer helm. Tier 50 is kinda meh, we could bring it lower to either 40 (zerk content) or even more. Base stats could be nerfed.

Would be nice, but overall I think these achievements should be harder to reach (e.g 5k boss kills). Lots of icons makes the game seem cheap imho.

This should totally be a thing if possible. Although the sets should be thought through better than the golden mining set, which is still garbo.

As for the suggestion itself. We don't need prospectors since we got the golden one (needs tweaking pls), neither do we need camo set since garbo. Could also leave out pyromancer and make the lumberjack boost both wc and fm. Anglers could boost both fishing and cooking. Farmers outfit would be neat, but not really needed xp wise imho. And finally the rouges outfit to boost thieving.

Basically all the skills that would get an xp boosting outfit would be the most zzzzzz ones. Obtaining methods could be rng or grind doesn't really matter. Shouldn't take more time than it takes to 99.

Honestly the game is already dead so it couldn't get worse imho.

If anything it will make the game more competetive for the top 5.

edit

if a reset was to happen a lot of work would have to be done beforehand (fixing drop tables, implementing item sinks etc)
