Strung rabbit foot can be crafted with a rabbit foot and a ball of wool, this requires level 95 Crafting. The 95 crafting requirement for it seems crazy for such a goofy item. I mean you can wear best in slot gear at base 80s.
I recently tweaked Hunting Experts dialogue (the person you buy hunting stuff from) and he'll make the necklace for you now for a fee.

I don't know how many of you see this as an issue but i feel like i should point out that our current prayer flicking system is a bit unfair towards the person who is attacking someone who's protect praying. Now that after the next update you can only have one offensive prayer on, i state that bridding will become stale. You have to focus on gear switches + offensive pray switching and it will be incredibly easy to pray flick your hit. In Osrs, if you are late with the pray switch, aka the moment your arrow/spell/attack is made, it cannot be reduced "midair" but in emps you can literally put on protection pray right before the attack hits you to avoid the damage. Being late with a pray flick in pvp scenario needs to be punished.

The more complicated you make this game the more dumb the pking gets, in the good old scape you would have very limited mechanics with set limitations.
Void was one of the bis and was noticeably the best set for pking, in Emps it doesn't matter what gear you throw on you don't really feel the difference.
You can wear virtus or third age for pking, it doesn't make any noticeable difference.

Alot of new items just eventually become part of the grey mass and one or two items become a meta of rng(and easiest rng at that, there's tons of complicated combos you can do but it's not worth it).

Best range combo in scape: Dbow to gmaul - skill level 7-8
Best range combo in world: Javelin spec - skill level 1

Efficient mage options in scape: Boots, ring, ammy max mage switch for when youre maging.
Efficient mage options in world: 3rd-range with onyx bolts (this is not a joke)

Melee pking in scape: Simple and fun
Melee pking in world: Complicated but fun

Things that ruin pking: (ask me for an explanation why if you're curious, cbf write an essay)
  • Pures being able to keep all 3 combat style prayers on at the same time/mains can do same with lower tier prayer
    Spirit shield special attacks
    Brewing not being punished and players adopting their eating habits from watching My 600lb Life
    Onyx/dragon bolts are way too overpowered
    Magic is suppose to be more armour orienated
    Lack of intuition why to pick x item over y, to me they all feel the same (virtus,third mage..)
    1 prayer point drains once every blue moon


Note/ Actually eating would be kind of cool (because you can hit alot too) if people just stopped brewing when their enemy has 0 k0 potential / but they dont

Update multi zone icon

Add additional information on wilderness warning sign


Make laughing emote whilst you are muted ban-able by up to 7 days.

Make it an option to ignore list everyone who has been to wild at once, including yourself.

Make a new broadcast for when people bring more than 3 brews to edge-pking call it [R***-Alert] (you can add more broadcasts in the future)

Every friday-sunday add multi-zone icon to edgeville, just the icon, it will be enough to get 20 people in there.

If you get 3 [R***-Alert] 's in less than 5 minutes you will be teleported inside of unlit beacon and skillers can light it for best firemaking experience in the game, in the end your items will be shared between the players lighting the beacon.


If you move around in fight every 2 seconds ::firstperson will go on for 20 seconds

Hey guys,

Today's update mainly focuses on fixing a few problems and introduces PvP Highscores.

PvP Hiscores
It's been a while since the PvP ranking update was applied and we've now also collected enough data to properly display rankings on the homepage. You can have a look at PvP ranks here: https://emps-world.net/hiscores#skill,Wilderness,0 With this update I've also overhauled and modernized the Hiscores page.


Game Loader
I've updated the Game Loader. It's now able to update itself properly, news images no longer flicker and have a fading effect when new ones appear. There's now also a Repair Game option from within the settings. The new loader can be downloaded here: https://emps-world.net/play
You don't need to download the new loader, the old one will still do fine.

Game fixes / changes:
  • The overload refresh effect has been changed, because it was a problem in PvP and also completely negated any stat reduction effects from any monster. Don't worry, overloads still restore your stats and they can still be used with brews, but the effect has changed a little bit. Overloads now restore up to 6 levels every 4 seconds instead of a full stat restore every 5 seconds. Nothing changes if you take 1-2 zips of your brews, because your stats will be restored immediately. In fact it's even faster than before if you only take 1 zip. So unless you drink your whole brew at once this is a buff. However taking damage of a bgs special attack or drinking 2 entire brews in a row won't be recovered that quickly. My point here is that I don't want to completely counter stat reduction effects by just having the overload effect active.
  • A bug with void equipment bonus not showing has been fixed.
  • Overkill in PvP scenarios has been re-enabled. It shouldn't be possible to tick eat and avoid all incoming damage. I've made a mistake here and am sorry. :)
  • Blessed dragonhide vambraces and chaps now require level 1 Defence and have had their defensive bonuses adjusted.
  • Tyras Guard at the Grand Exchange now has a teleport option to Fight Caves.
  • The experience gain for spellbook teleports has been increased.
  • Berserker necklace now boosts obsidian claws damage.
  • Mithril dragon and green brutal dragon Defence levels have been reduced.
  • Broken virtus body is no longer untradeable.
  • The kill counters which determine who gets a drop in a PvP fight are now reset when leaving PvP combat and no longer when leaving combat at all. That means that whenever a fight between 2 players ends the kill counters are reset and the next fight will determine who gets the drop.
  • Ghost captain can now be found west of Barbarian village offering a teleport to Canifis.
  • Falador teleport has been re-added to the quest tab interface.
  • Double death trigger is no longer possible when healing after already being declared dead.
  • The cooldowns for fighting the same opponent in wildy to gain ELO have been increased.
  • Multi spells are now correctly hitting again in PvP.
  • A bug with the quiver has been fixed that allowed you to create arrows.

Engine fixes / changes:
  • Messages can no longer start or end with spaces. That should fix an issue where a space in front of a clan chat message or command won't let you type it.
  • Water that is no longer in camera space is also no longer rendered: frustum culling for water.

I'll now start working on several new wilderness activities. We have a new amulet planned as well as a new boss that drops new equipment. So stay tuned! ;)

I'm not a very big fan of increasing the healing timer from 1.5 seconds to 2. We have higher weapon tiers and higher max hits than OSRS, which has a 1.8s eating delay. So imho that justifies our healing system and its speed. Besides... OSRS has Karambwans, which allow you to heal from 3 sources in 1 tick. I'd be more interested in looking into punishing constant healing. This could be done by increasing the attack cooldown by an additional 1-2 ticks when healing.

That wouldn't impact the amount or speed you can heal with, but the damage you do when deciding to constantly heal.

Welcome to Emps-World's largest PvP event: Wilderness-Wars
In this event, there are two clans fighting to the death and the spoils of war are yours to keep, in addition to that, each participant will earn some extra blood coins, 50k to each winning team member and 25k blood coins to each losing team member!

To join, you must have a risk of at least 10mil.  There are no restrictions as to what level your account must be, but it is strongly recommended that you use a high-level account, as this will be hosted in the deep wilderness.  Your items are not safe.  This event will be hosted in a private setting that will be inaccessible to anyone who is not part of the event.

The event will take place on 26.08.2018 19.00 Pm +2

The staff team will ensure that it is a fair battle.
  • Staff members will be closely monitoring the event
  • Clans will be evenly balanced
  • Betrayal is prohibited
  • Hiding is prohibited
  • Clan chats are locked so that only clan members can join them

An idea just popped into my head.

What if these skilling outfits would be linked to the daily tasks? Like when you have completed, lets say 50, woodcutting tasks, you get one piece. This could either be random, or designated.

Thoughts?
I'd say too much rng involved, first you'd need rng to get the task and then the piece .
They were supposed to be hard to get in the first place. This way there's no rng involved while skilling, and making it a premium item for the hardened player.

But I agree with you, there shouldn't be another rng for the actual gaining of the item. Maybe a droptable like;

  • 25 completed tasks, hat
  • 50 completed tasks, boots
  • 75 completed tasks, top
  • 100 completed tasks, legs

One guy asked me to suggest this for him cos he's bad at forums.

So The idea is that when you get rare drop for example - Abyssal whip, when you right click it the text would be different from other drops. Like this 'Abyssal whip' or maybe just "Abyssal whip" that you would see the rare drop instantly. And yes, I myself would like to see this in game. Sometimes when you semi-afking you can miss fireworks and in daytime clan chat is lively, so the 'Valuable drop' doesn't help very much too.

Could make the base stats of the helm scale from levels 1 to 50? Or even 60. Bonus during slayer tasks it provides would stay the same on all tiers.

Second suggestion I have would be upgradeable tiers. You make the helm and it has level 1 stats. You're then able to buy tier upgrades with slayer points. 5 In total.
First upgrade would upgrade it to tier 20 -> second upgrade to tier 30 and 3rd to tier 50.
Last 2 upgrades would then grant you the bonuses during slayer task and a new feature where you're able to use ferocious rings to it giving it charges and using the helm to teleport then.
This is exact opposite from your suggestion though.

sounds like a topic made for self benefits only, knowing that you'd want to go for max herb xp... some people(ironmans) have no problems with that skill, so shouldnt you.. I have 100m banked... Nature iron has 200m xp in herb.. Dont see a reason for xp changes honestly.

Well to be perfectly honest, in my humble opinion, of course without offending anyone who thinks differently from my point of view, but also by looking into this matter in a different perspective and without being condemning of one's view's and by trying to make it objectified, and by considering each and every one's valid opinion, I honestly believe that this sounds like a load of shite.
