While I get that people using max cape get an advantage, max cape isn't the best in slot and does have it's cons in the form of it having a high general store cost and thus being protected a lot. You do have to do combat for max cape, giving it combat bonuses is something that does make sense, and is something that in my opinion should stay the same. It's not the best in slot for offense, it is for defense, this could be toned down slightly. Combination capes, stat wise, are more unhealthy than max cape is.

There are things outside of the wilderness that might give you an advantage in PvP, you may consider doing these things as preperation for your fight. Some things may take too long to be worth the advantage, I don't think that that advantage should be changed though. Quest requirements for items, untradable potions and dungeoneering rewards are things we can compare to this; some of these things were incredibly popular in PvP in RS. If it isn't broken OP, it doesn't need to change.

My opinion on max cape: If I work my butt off for a cape, be that a 200m cape or max cape, I would like to be able to show this off pretty much anywhere without having to lose efficiency because of it, be this PvM or PvP. A cosmetic overlay would be a solution to this, for balance reasons it would need an option to turn off in PvP, but since that requires effort it probably won't come. I don't think this needs to be changed at all though. Even if it saves you slots for switches it isn't super significant.

I just don't agree with you on this matter, because how I see it is "I don't want to put as much effort as the other players for a good cape, please change it in my favor."

Duping 1t is not a smart thing to do tho,
anyway removing the duped cash from the game was much easier than we thought.

Few players were mad because we took their duped cash but they are fine now as i've told you,
Thomy fixed the bug
Everything is back to as it was before the duping part .

IMO it would make search option much easier, you can try to find the cheapest price of whatever you want to buy,
moreover you can check the Avg price of an item just by searching for it.

Well, tormented demons range & mage max hit is about 39 and melee is 42, but how do i get into pray with range 48?? such a lie wiki lol... make people die as hell
Do you wanna help keep this updated? Use the spell monster examine (from the lunar spellbook, 66 mage) on as many monsters as possible and give us screenshot of the ones that are wrong.



As far as tormented demons go, you're the only one that is lying. We've been over this when you said wildywyrm info was incorrect, it was incorrect but the hits you stated it could hit were pretty far off the actual maxhit. Please put a screenshot or video showing us that they can hit higher, please do not make another post containing false information.

This first batch was requests (that are taking wayyy too long to finish due to my current focus on college search and lack of time with portfolio work). In the future I plan to release these as commissions, payments are still being worked out.

I have voted for less member days, but I also wanted to vote for more member content.  I believe that there's a lot more places in Emps that could be added for new things and many things could be changed into members only.  Such things could be like, access to certain locations around emps, home teleports, new monsters/more current monsters in certain spots only accessible to members etc. It depends on what the players want to see brought into the game.

In my opinion, there's too many double experience days.  Also bosses these days are wayyyyy to easy.  I mean corp is not meant to be solo'ed so easily, but I understand they want it possible for those who don't have "friends" or "clans" to kill bosses with.  This is more off from this topic, but it would be cool if there were options when entering GWD bosses or Corp where you can choose easy or hard.  Make the drop rate more difficult if they choose easy and easier if they choose hard.

I wouldn't mind seeing this though it's not something I'd be excited about. We may have to outlaw autotalkers as they could now effectively write messages longer than the screen and maybe cause some players to have issues due to them having to load the chats at the GE.

"Clan chat improvements - This will probably come in the future, please stop suggesting, it won't make it any sooner." All I have to say.

Like I said, we already had the chat logs like that before, it bugged out and made useless space in between chats. Time should be spent on different updates that will be a lot more useful and bring players to the server. Being able to type more in a Pm won't bring players to the server.
It's got more to do with the entire chat system as a whole than with clans. Suggestions don't always have to bring more players, sometimes they can just be small improvements that make something more convenient. He did not break the section rules by posting this.

here goes another pker raging about how he got killed in wilderness. everyone gets lucky sometimes, and someone doesn't. you're always able to perform nice combos, even in shit gear, you just need some luck. by the way, verac's is already nerfed.
Excuse me for giving feedback on this server, and on subjects that matter.
Maybe you should try and do the same instead of posting irrelevant replies.

You act like pking doesn't need changes, pkers are the ones who give feedback on new and old items that matter to them. Just because you can't pk or simply don't care doesn't mean we are not entitled to give feedback.
Pking is a big part of this server, and Thomy is not a fucking robot that codes everything to perfection. It's important to him to get feedback to tweak our bugs and overpowered/underpowered items.

If you consider yourself a somewhat decent player who actually cares about this server you would understand that feedback is to help out the server, not help me out.
By all means I can go:
Pk in ahrims, and barrage 57s.
Go camp npcs with guthans that constantly heals you.
Go pk with karil bow that hits 48s.
Verac that completely ignores the protection prayers.

If you honestly think that Thomys intentions were to make these items so powerful then that's your view on it, and I simply don't care because in the sake of this server some of the feedback I listed will actually be changed, if you can't appreciate it then don't reply.

To explain this better:
The charges from brawler gloves are a value that is stored in your account, rather than the gloves themselves. This is why they are stackable in your bank in emps, but aren't in RS. Let's say you have 500 charges left on a hunter brawler, but have two of them. Should you run out of those charges, your charges will be restored and it will consume one pair of brawlers, leaving you with one pair of hunter brawlers.

Update Notes / Updates - February 12th 2016 - PvP and PvE Balancing

Hey guys,

Following things have been updated:
  • Donation Points (DP) are now called Emps Credits (EC). This name change is necessary to support other payment providers, other than that, there is no internal change but the naming. Yes, I'm working on other payment options to purchase Emps Credits. :)
  • Rabbits necklace no longer increases your fail chance if your level has ~15+ level difference with the required level. It is only 10% more effective for players with a thieving level close to the required thieving level of the target npc and does not affect your fail chances on a higher level difference.
  • The position out of synch issue was finally found and successfully fixed. You'll no longer find yourself inside of bank booths or clip through walls when following other players.
  • You are no longer able to cast magic spells extra fast when you cast them manually. There was a bug which allowed you to spam click spells on players.
  • Hit chance calculation (if you hit 0 or non-0) has been overhauled. The random value selection code was updated and should now be more accurate. The random value selection is now evenly distributed. You won't feel a big difference there other than the formula's fairness being 99% now instead of ~95%.
  • Special attack buffs:
    • Darkbow special attack accuracy buffed: 130% --> 140%
    • Seercull special attack buffed: damage 115% --> 120% and accuracy 125% --> 135%
    • Dragon 2h sword special attack buffed: accuracy 110% --> 130%.
    • Dragon longsword attack buffed: accuracy 110% --> 130%.
    • Dragon mace special attack buffed: accuracy 80% --> 120%.
    • magic shortbow special attack buffed: accuracy 110% --> 125%.
    • Dragon axe special attack buffed: accuracy 105% --> 120%.
  • Darkbow accuracy bonus increased from 93 to 115.
  • A bug was fixed where magic prayers didn't give additional accuracy in the hit calculation code.
  • Spam withdrawing items from the bank no longer has the chance to disconnect your client because of data overflows. Your bank withdrawals are now properly grouped and updated once per game cycle instead of being updated once per withdrawal.
  • NPC's defence bonuses have been increased by 10% globally. We don't want the game to become too easy with the overall weapon buffs from the past year!
  • Barrow armour effects overhauled. We identified that some set effects are unfair and some useless. So we tried to give every set a new and useful effect:
    • Veracs: Now ignores 25% of your opponent's defence bonus instead of 100%. It also ignores protection prayer damage reduction completely when the effect triggers. I've found the set too strong in PvE and PvP situations. It makes armours and high defence levels just worthless when veracs is used. The Veracs set effect has a 20% chance to occur.
    • Guthans: The overall heal is too big. I've removed the fixed amount of heal you'd get in every case. The guthans armour now heals you for half of your hit on the enemy. The Guthans set effect has a 20% chance to occur.
    • Karils: Additional damage removed. When the set effect triggers, your next auto attack will be 0.5 seconds faster. The Karils effect has a 20% chance to occur.
    • Ahrims: Additional damage removed. The set now enhances your spell effects by 25% (doesn't work for teleblocks). The Ahrims set effect ALWAYS occurs.
    • Torags: Reduces all incoming damage by 10%. The hammers are now also using the same attack style as warhammers. Moreover, Torag hammers' attack speed has been increased, it attacks as fast as longswords now.
    • Dharoks: No changes! ;)
  • Smite system overhauled. The system now properly rounds the prayer reduction values. Before the update, the amount of removed prayer points was always rounded down.
  • Shadow barrage no longer reduces your enemy's attack level but your enemy's prayer points by a percentage of your hit. This effect can also be increased with the ahrims set bonus!
    • Shadow rush: -2% of your hit
    • Shadow burst: -4% of your hit
    • Shadow blitz: -6% of your hit
    • Shadow barrage: -8% of your hit
  • Zamorak Godsword special attack nerfed. The special attack now freezes your target for 20 seconds instead of 25.
  • Zuriel's hood, Morrigan's coif and Statius' helm accuracy and strength values buffed.
  • Equal item drops (e.g. 10 fishes on the ground) will now be fully shown again.
  • Experience gains shown on your screen have now received a fade out animation.
  • Spam-clicking no longer allows you to use agility obstacles twice.
  • Set autocast spells are no longer reset when changing attack styles of non-staves.
  • Barrow brother's hitpoints increased to 180.
  • Drop chances for barrow items in the chest have been slightly reduced.
  • You can now get frogs leg from moss giants to make agility pots.
