I'll have to agree with you on this one. As far as I know, Banshees are somewhat the best source (excluding bosses) to obtain Potato cactus. Very few people have interest in killing these Banshees, since their drops aren't really that great, plus, it requires an active Membership and a certain Slayer level to be able to even deal damage to them, whereas the ingredients for Ranged potions in comparison, are a lot easier to get.

Because of this, barely any people sell them (let alone a large amount; x100). If lucky, you can manage to obtain them by posting a topic on the Market, but again, that's just a tiny chance. The amount of Magic potions that are currently in circulation is just ridiculous.

I personally consider them 'rare' at the moment, something they shouldn't be.

I'd suggest adding Potato cactus or Magic potions as drop from a wider variety of monsters to: (1) increase the activity of the Magic skill in overall, and to (2) lower the value of Magic potions to a respectable amount (slightly similar to Ranged potions).

Magic is already an expensive skill because of the many runes that go to waste, at least make it be worthwhile.

Regarding Herblore; it doesn't really matter as long as you are rich. Herblore is easy if you have a stack of cash.


Also, off-topic: do you ever consider adding both Ranged and Magic potions to the pricelist? I am sure they have quite some demand.

EDIT: Due to a complete server restart today some port redirects were lost. I've re-added them. Can you reach the server now?

Resolved Bug Reports / Connection issue [returned]

The connection issue has returned since today (read: http://emps-world.net/forum/index.php?topic=4240.msg31677). I've got a hunch that there has been a change in the files recently, declining my access to the server once again. Everything worked fine ever since Thomy updated the data, which was about two months ago. Either way, the issue has returned and I hope it can and will be resolved as soon as possible.
