Verac's brassard is one of the various Barrow items that is obtainable from the Barrow Brothers minigame. It is one of the pieces of Verac's armour set. The brassard requires 70 Defence to be equipped.

Verac's brassard, like all Barrow items, is a degradable armour and will gradually degrade into a broken state while used in combat, possessing a total of 8,000 charges. It is only tradable when it is completely full of charges or completely broken. If the user dies and drops the brassard, the broken version will be dropped. Verac's brassard can be repaired by Bob at any state for a coin fee of up to 271,500 gp (depending on how many charges missing).

Set effect

Verac's brassard, when equipped with the rest of the set, will activate Verac's set effect. The set effect will give the player a 20% chance to ignore melee protection prayers as well as 25% of the target's defence bonuses.
