The Rod of Ivandis can be acquired as a very rare drop from the smoke demon champion. It requires 80 magic to equip. While it does not possess a special attack, it does allow you to cast Storm of Armadyl, a strong single-target spell that requires no runes.

The Rod of Ivandis is degradable and will gradually degrade into rod dust while used in combat, possessing a total of 6,000 charges. It is only tradeable as the dust or when it is completely full of charges. If the user dies and drops the rod, it will retain all of its charges. The rod can be repaired by Bob at any state for a coin fee of up to 2,000,000 gp, depending on how many charges missing. Players may also repair it at a repair bench in a player-owned house for a reduced fee of up to 1,580,000 gp.
