To craft a Ruby amulet, you first need a cut/uncut ruby, which can be bought from players. A cut ruby can also be purchased from the gem trader or obtained from stealing from a Gem stall. The uncut ruby can be obtained through mining shooting stars, ores and gem rocks or be obtained from certain monsters as a drop.

To cut an uncut ruby a crafting level of 34 and a chisel are required. The cut ruby then has to be made into a ruby amulet at a furnace which requires a crafting level of 50, 1 gold bar and an amulet mould. Next, you will need a ball of wool to attach to the ruby amulet, to make a (strung) ruby amulet. Finally, you have to enchant the (strung) Ruby amulet by casting the Magic spell Lvl-3 Enchant on it. This requires a Magic level of 49 to cast, along with 5 fire runes and 1 cosmic rune.
