Barrow items can be obtained as a reward from the dangerous minigame Barrow Brothers. The Verac's flail is two-handed and requires 70 Attack to wield. It degrades when used 1000 times and can only be traded when it is fully charged or completely destroyed. If the user dies and drops barrow items, the destroyed version will be dropped. Players can repair destroyed Barrow items at Bob for a coin fee.

The Verac's flail ignores protection prayers when used in combination with all Verac's armour pieces. It is mostly used against the Kalphite Queen, as she uses protection prayers in her defence.
